“These are his words…. This is  his voice.”

Join us for lunch with award-winning journalist Hedley Thomas. Hedley is co-creator, along with Slade Gibson, of the Gold Walkley Award-winning podcast The Teacher’s Pet: The Unsolved Murder of Lyn Dawson. The Teacher’s Pet is a compelling work of journalism, which brought to Australia’s and the world’s attention the tragic disappearance and probable murder of mother-of-two Lyn Dawson, and exposed a predatory network of teachers and horrific abuses of power in Northern Beaches high schools in the ’80s.

In this very special Q&A event exclusively for Bravehearts, Hedley will discuss his work on The Teacher’s Pet, as well as his distinguished journalism career. Hedley will also be joined by Michelle Walsh, a former Cromer High student, for the Q&A.

You will have the opportunity to ask your own questions and meet Hedley in a casual meet-and-greet.

This will be an intimate event, with only 150 tickets available for each lunch. BE QUICK – TICKETS SELLING FAST!

Ticket price includes sit-down, two-course lunch and drinks package.

Proceeds from this event go directly to Bravehearts Foundation – an organisation dedicated to preventing child sexual assault and supporting survivors and their families.
