Child and Family Advocacy
Bravehearts’ Child and Family Advocacy is a ‘wraparound’ service for children and families affected by child sexual abuse. Our Advocates help families navigate and understand the police reporting process and access the support that best meets their needs. This may include providing education around the process, supporting families during police interviews and addressing the individual needs of a family following an interview.
Bravehearts’ Child and Family Advocates support families (with children aged 0-17 years) who live in the Gold Coast and Logan regions of Queensland and ensure better access to a variety of services within the sector. Child and Family Advocacy is provided by Bravehearts thanks to the generous support of the Thyne Reid Foundation.
