The Bravehearts 777
It’s the ultimate fundraising adventure for everyday people who want to achieve extraordinary feats.
Individuals and teams are encouraged to join the mighty 2017 Bravehearts 777 and take on the challenge of a lifetime to raise money to protect Aussie kids against child sexual assault by participating in a marathon in their state – with seven to choose from Australia-wide.
To be held Mid 2017, seven 42-kilometre marathons across seven consecutive days will be staged across seven states – Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, Canberra, Kingscliff and culminating in Australia’s largest marathon on the beautiful Gold Coast alongside more than 25,000 competitors.
Fundraising goals for individual and team participants in state legs are $250 per person per race.
Funds raised go towards Bravehearts personal safety education program ‘Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure’ and the delivery of specialist support services to children and families affected by child sexual assault.
There are three choices for the level of commitment to the Bravehearts 777: Become a 777 runner and run all 7 marathons in 7 states in 7 days; Protect Aussie kids and run just 1 marathon in your home state/preferred state; or become a relay runner and pick a team to run just one marathon in your home state/preferred state.
