Fundraise for bravehearts

Fundraising is a great way to support Bravehearts and have fun at the same time.

We’ve made it easy for you to set-up your own fundraising page and invite your friends and family to participate, or you can just set up a personal page and add funds to reach your personal goal.

Either way, you can review your page from time to time to see how you’re going. It’s really exciting and rewarding to see that thermometer climb higher to the reach the top!

If you’re new to fundraising, don’t be put off starting.

We’ve had everyone from young children selling balloons and ribbons at schools, to the most senior members of our community holding a neighbourhood BBQ.

If you need some inspiration, consider our best fundraiser to date – Claude the lawnmower man. Claude has raised nearly $900,000 so far by simply pushing his lawnmower around and raising awareness.

Claude has a target of $1 million and we recon he’ll get there too.

What could you do?  Look at the list below for some cool ideas.

Getting involved by donating or raising awareness is so simple, yet will make such a big difference to the support services that Bravehearts provides.
Here are some fundraising suggestions that you might like to think about:

Organise a neighbourhood party: Invite your local community to bring something and donate $10.

Make your birthday all about giving: Get people to support your cause, rather than buy a gift.

Donate a percentage of sales from your retail outlet, or corner store.

Do something wild: How about shaving that beard? Will someone pay you to do that?

Name Bravehearts as your chosen charity at your next corporate lunch, dinner or Golf Day.

Set up a BBQ at Bunnings: Or any one of a number of venues that are happy to give you space.

Show your support of Bravehearts to your customers and clients by running a donations appeal.

Give up coffee: Giving up 3 coffees can help educate one kid! Swap your coffee for water and donate the savings to those who need it.
